New Summer cocktail Botanical Garden – Delish!

Last night I attended the launch of the new summer cocktail and canapé menu at Emporium Hotel Cocktail Bar. The theme of the menu and of the night was a throwback to the 70’s. With old vinyl records hanging from the ceiling, pink flamingos, a grass carpet and prawn cocktail we were taken back to the time that saw the rise of women in politics, the first colour transmission on Australian television and widespread installation of avocado and harvest gold shag pile carpet in homes around the Australia.

The Emporium Hotel did a great job of making me feel all nostalgic for a time I was not alive for. On the menu is some of my favourite golden oldies that have been made cool again. Head in for a Botanical Garden and Prawn Cocktail this summer.
