Course 4 was my favourite. The crispy wonton wrapper with creamy sesame and fresh raw tuna. It was a delight!
Serves 4
1 large piece of sashimi tuna
1/4 cup Kewpie Japanese mayonnaise
1/4 tsp chilli powder
1 tbs sesame oil
3 wonton sheets
1 shallot green, finely sliced
Oil for frying
First mix up your sauce, add all ingredients together, the mayo, chilli and sesame oil, mix well and set aside. Please taste and adjust the chilli or sesame to your taste.
Next, cut the square wonton wrappers into quarters and fry in hot oil until golden. Set aside on paper towel to drain.
Dice your tuna carefully into small cubes. Coat with the sauce at the last minute. Then serve on wonton with a sliver of shallot. Serve immediately.
